The Red Herring was honored to perform for the Canoga Park’s Centennial Celebration Artrageous Artwalk event. Special thanks to The Daily News and photographer Michael Owen Baker for taking some great pics of our band which were included in a slideshow of the event on the publication’s website. Big Dave made a great parody of one of the photos. For other great pics by Claudia Fischer check out the recent section of our Show Photos album on Facebook.

Brooke Trout enjoyed dressing up as Zombie Alderaanian at the 4th Annual SoCal Zombie Walk fundraiser down Hollywood Blvd. She helped spread the gore by posting one of her Currenthoughts Cartoons to promote the event. Special thanks to Nette Conlon for reposting this on the awesome new NetteRadio Daily Edition!  Check out the official event photographer’s site to see the great event pics. For more information on the next zombie walk Toys for Tots fundraiser check out The SoCal Zombie Walk Facebook Page!

Last issue we let you know Big Dave won tickets to the world famous Playboy Mansion thanks to LA Weekly. We have now posted the thrilling conclusion of his manventure!

We have completed the mixing process of our EP release thanks to Dan Hughley (Crazyville Productions) and are currently in the mastering and replication process. We will be making digital download stickers with our awesome Red Herring logo artwork designed by our esteemed professional illustrator and drummer Vincent Perea to be released in September exclusively as a sneak preview to those who wish to support our production efforts! So stay tuned for next month when we release our EP and launch our online fundraising campaign to help support the production of our full length album!
